AND Food Security Solutions Fellow Program

We are pleased to share that the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation (Foundation) is funding a Food Security Solutions Fellow as part of the Food Security Solutions (FSS) program (formerly the Hunger Free Communities program).

This opportunity, available through a grant to the Foundation by the General Mills Foundation (GMF), will fund an RDN member of the Academy to participate part-time (0.75 FTE) in a one-year project in collaboration with the Foundation’s FSS program to lead the development and implementation of a robust communications, engagement, and dissemination plan to promote increased awareness and use of the FSS guide and tools and the ANDHII Survey App in the public health community and to related stakeholders.

The fellow will work closely with the Foundation; the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ (Academy) Research, International, and Scientific Affairs (RISA) team; and the Academy’s Strategic Communications team to accomplish the goals of the fellowship. The fellowship begins on or around February 18, 2019.
